Motor Park Features:

The Motorpark will be a fully integrated driver education and motorsports facility, featuring;

• International Competition standard Dragstrip
• Speedway
• Karting Track
• Motocross Track
• Club Car Circuit
• Driver Training Centre including skidpan
• 4WD and Industrial Vehicle Training Course
• Operations Centre, Trackside Offices and Public amenities

The potential exists to further develop the facility to also include a number of other, value adding   (on-site) elements, such as;

• automotive trade and mechanical support  businesses (industry alley)
• retail merchandising outlets,
• a historical car and motorsports museum,
• a corporate events and function centre, and
• on-site tourist accommodation (a hotel or motels).

With the exception of Drag Racing, all of the components proposed for the facility are already in existence in this region. Relocation of these disparate clubs and facilities to a carefully selected, central location, protected from future residential development, will serve to reduce the impact of these activities on existing residents while enhancing the viability of the sports in the region, over the longer term.

Further, by bringing all motorsports and related activities to one common site, a whole range of savings can be made, enabling all locally represented motorsports to be more sustainable and have less of an impact on our local environment.

The Motorpark will provide a valuable venue for local driver education and instructional training. Younger drivers, professionals and “the everyday motorist” can develop and improve their driving skills in a controlled and safe environment with professional instruction and guidance - before tackling the open road.

The public infrastructure constructed in establishing the Motorpark shall also provide the people of Queensland an all new, outdoor venue for any number of cultural, recreational, corporate and/or community events; such as concerts, fairs and exhibitions, trade shows, product launches, corporate hospitality, incentive and reward events, fund raising and charity events.
